Drive round the bend of a narrow lane lined with high banks of wildflowers to discover Trevigue. From the garden, a short walk on the cliff path takes you down to Strangles, a beach that you could well have to yourselves for swimming, rock-pooling and games of beach cricket.
Inside the open spaces flow together - ditch your wetsuit in the gear room, get the kettle on as you walk through the kitchen, then slump onto the sofas by the wood-burner set in the huge brick fireplace. The range cooker and the large kitchen's dark-beamed farmhouse warmth invite sociable meals but you can wander the mile and a half of country paths to a lovely pub sitting almost in the surf at Crackington Haven.

- We are right on top of the cliff footpath with amazing views and walking. There is an amazing nearly private beach below our farm accessed via a footpath. Also an ancient woodland walk to the sea at Crackington Haven.
- The peace and tranquility here is second to none. It is a perfect spot for star gazing being one of the darkest places in the world with virtually zero light pollution.
- Resident conservation expert who runs guided wild life walks and moonlit badger walks!
- Tintagel castle (King Arthur's). There is an awesome new bronze statue of King Arthur perched on the cliffs. There is a tall man in Tintagel who this was modelled on!
- Bude 1930s sea pool which is 88 meters long. Swim longer than an Olympic size pool.
- World-renowned geological folding of rocks at the local beach of Millook on the coastal road to Bude.
