The Stables - Self-catering barn in Devon
Salcombe Farm, Salcombe, TQ8 8NF, Devon
England,
Reino Unido
This luxurious timber barn, an ex-recording studio for Led Zeppelin, is surrounded by farmhouses, cottages and ponies, with views to East Portlemouth and beyond. As for the owners, who also run a B&B and a treehouse on site, they simply couldn’t be nicer.
Walk down the lane to the Crab Shed for lobster and into Salcombe for blustery beachside walks, bobbing boats and boutiques, great fish and chips and ice cream. It’s pure English seaside holiday stuff.
With books, games, highchairs, dogs, ponies and hens, it’s well geared up for families - take The Recording Studio too and bring everybody, together they sleep, and seat, 18. Large windows flood rooms with light, the kitchen is in galley style, and French doors open to a private patio, so let the children tear about safely while you have a sundowner.
