Crawford House - Bed & Breakfast in Dorset
Spetisbury, Blandford Forum, DT11 9DP, Dorset
England,
Reino Unido
Below, the river Stour winds through the valley and under the medieval, nine-arched bridge. Above, an Iron Age hill fort; between is Crawford House. The sun streams through the tall windows of the downstairs rooms and you feel very much at home.
Andrea is fun and has lots of local knowledge. There are plenty of historic houses to visit, you can get to Poole with its stunning natural harbour in half an hour, and the gate from her garden leads on to the North Dorset Trailway – useful for dog walking.
Sit out in walled gardens full of roses with lemon drizzle cake and tea, read by the open fire, sleep well in warm comfy bedrooms. Andrea’s delicious breakfasts include homemade marmalade and seasonal berries.
