Inside there are lots of original features, antique furniture and leaded windows through which you have bucolic views. There are good books, local maps and walking guides – restful to sit before the wood-burner with a board game on a rainy day or to plan your next outing. You cook and eat in a country-style kitchen with a big oak table and chairs, classic quarry tiles and enough worktop space for all to join in.
Bedrooms (two on the ground floor and one upstairs) are simple, comfortable and charming, two with lovely views; bathrooms are traditional and pristine, two with a shower and one a free-standing cast iron bath. Your private garden faces south and west for far-reaching views and lovely outdoor meals. You're welcome to wander the Perrycroft Gardens straight from the gate.
On sunny days you can pack up a picnic and head off on sublime walks in the Malvern Hills.
