The Tallet - Self-catering house in Somerset
Home Farm, Chilthorne Domer, BA22 8RD, Somerset
England,
Reino Unido
You're near to the pretty old farmhouse where Luke's family live and next to a magnificent Somerset cider barn, but once inside you'll feel very independent. Your private terrace overlooks nobody and has a covered eating area with a big wooden table, some colourful pots and neatly clipped hedges. Then there's a large paddock, all yours, for games or picnics under the shade of the fruit trees - apple, cherry and crabapple - gorgeous in spring.
On chilly days, underfloor heating and an electric wood-burner will keep you cosy and there's plenty of comfy seating for watching a film, reading a book or playing games. Cooking is sociable in the open-plan space and there's another big table in the kitchen area. You'll find all the basics plus biscuits and if you prefer not to do your own breakfast, Celia can drop off a continental with fresh croissants.
Walk to a good pub, join a farm footpath or just settle in and unwind.
