You'll feel well looked after here. You'll also find a bountiful welcome hamper with all you need for two massive breakfasts and basics like milk and fruit.
Walk along a footpath from the house, which within 15 minutes will take you to the White Horse pub - also a micro-brewery and member of CAMRA. In the other direction you'll find the church. Bring bikes and join the South Suffolk cycle route for a pedal to charming Kersey and stunning Lavenham - it's relatively flat round here.
Hop in the car for Dedham, Flatford Mill and a cream tea at the Essex Rose tearoom. Stock up on holiday treats at Sudbury, just 10 minutes down the road, then return to a roaring fire, comfortable chairs and a kitchen that's got all you need to rustle up supper.
