Old Barn Cottage - Self-catering in Pembrokeshire
St Florence, SA70 8LU, Pembrokeshire
Wales,
Reino Unido
It's a grand spot for winding down whether you come for outdoor shenanigans or just to laze about. Your 19th-century cottage in a row of three is bigger inside than it looks and it sits on a quiet road - just the occasional tractor and oodles of birdsong will disturb the peace. The light, bright sitting room has a comfy corner sofa, a log-burner with little seats beside it, cushions with pretty fabrics, shelves of games and books.
Bedrooms upstairs have crisp cotton sheets from Richard Haworth, lino prints reflecting nature, vintage mirrors, pegs for hanging clothes, and beds high enough to tuck your suitcase underneath. Even more books will make bibliophiles very happy. Cook up a storm in the open-plan kitchen with a friendly farmhouse table and chairs, a proper coffee machine and a welcome hamper of Pembrokeshire goodies.
The suntrap garden is the place for long evenings with a barbecue and a good bottle of wine.
