Visit medieval village, Labastide d'Armagnac (5 km), dip in the Barbotan-les-Thermes baths (20 km) or take a day trip to buzzy Bordeaux (1.5 hours), return for aperitifs on the sunny terrace.

- St Justin is a charming bastide, built in the 13th century by the Knights of St John of Jerusalem. You will be able to see the Templar's tower, what used to be the Commanderie in the centre square.
- St Justinwas the theatre of various battles between the French and the English during the One hundred years wars, and later in the 16th century between Catholics and Protestants (who burned the village down!).
- Château St Justin was itself built in 1840, replacing an older building, by a famous general of the French Empire. The house has remained a noble house to this day, apart from a short break of twenty years...
- The visitor will undoubtebly be attracted by the mighty cedar tree ruling over the gardens for the past 200 years.Different species of trees, some remarkable, are worth discovering in the peaceful and secluded park, right in the centre of the village.
- Should you wish to indulge in gastronomic cuisine (we are in Gascony after all!), you must book a table at the Cadet de Gascogne, right next door: well worth a visit. Don't miss out also on the Restaurant Les Allées, newly opened.
- It copuld be said that St Justin is the center of the world: easy access to major airports (Bordeaux, Toulouse, Pau), the wonderful beaches of the Atlantic, the Pyrenees, Spain and Portugal. Why not try the wonderful thermal town of Barbotan-les-Thermes?
