This is a handsome home filled with antiques and good art. It has a relaxed, easy-going charm about it and groups of friends or intergenerational families will find plenty of space to relax in two elegant lounges, two studies and a book-filled library, all interconnected. It'll be fun to come together for cheerful meals in the modern kitchen-diner, or go formal and and eat in one of two dining rooms.
You're in a market town, a two-minute walk from the bakery, a little further to the centre for cafés, restaurants and a Saturday foodie market. Lovely to mooch around picking up goodies to try later. Wine lovers will be in heaven with three excellent vineyards within easy reach, walkers too - hike the wild reaches of Morvan Park or visit medieval villages.
Return for sundowners in the formal gardens, an evening playing boardgames and tinkling the piano. Light the fire if the air is chill then slope upstairs to gorgeous bedrooms.
