This enchanting 200-year-old farmhouse is earthy, stylish and magical, and is bordered on one side by a stream. You are wrapped in ten acres of countryside. Rows of lavender run along one side of the pool while on the other a tunnel of wisteria leads down to a sun-trapping terrace. The interior is equally satisfying. Walls are washed in traditional colours, there are old beams and a big arched window gives onto the terrace.
Bedrooms are in the main house, all with views, or in the new annexe sleeping four, overlooking the gorgeous gardens and pool. Lovely to have a sundowner here after an active, happy day and you'll find some local wine waiting for you in the kitchen. You are in one of the loveliest parts of the Var and villages here have musical events running throughout the summer.
The garden is vast and alternates large areas for children to play with peaceful corners for a quiet read.
