Close to the medieval village of Montelparo is a haven of birdsong and tranquillity overlooking a pure green valley with vineyards, orchards and olive groves. This is a smart villa built in traditional style, constructed from 100% local materials and enviably eco: solar panels for hot water, photovoltaic for electricity, a heat-exchanger for underfloor heating but also to keep rooms blissfully cool in summer and ionized water for the fully-fenced pool.
The charming owners live upstairs in a separate apartment but the pool, large gardens and outdoor eating space are all yours. This spacious apartment offers comfortable, sustainable living with a mix of traditional and contemporary.
Take a stroll through the vineyards and taste the award-winning wines at the Vitali cantina next door. Zip off to the sea, quaint Pedaso is closest, the Sibillini Mountains National Park is a must, or visit Ascoli Piceno, an hour’s drive: it’s one of Italy’s loveliest cities.

- Using our wildlife guide, take a stroll around our beautiful garden and surrounding vineyards, 19 acres in total. Be amazed at our stunning 360 degrees panoramic views across the fields and woodland up to medieval hilltop towns and views to the mountains.
- Walk to Casale Vitali, our neighbours who manage our vineyards and produce award-winning DOC wines. We can arrange a wine tasting visit in their winery, which includes a tour of the cantina followed by wine tasting with local breads, meats & cheeses.
- A visit to the ancient city of Ascoli Piceno is a must. With marble piazzas, awe-inspiring churches, museums, markets and individual shops. Have a coffee or aperitivo at Caffe Meletti in the Piazza del Popolo and be part of the Italian dolce vita!
- Forty minutes to the Sibillini Mountains National Park with stunning mountain range, waterfalls, rivers, flora and fauna. We work with a qualified, highly knowledgable English-speaking guide, Rodolfo, who offers walks/hikes for all ages & abilities
- The uncrowded blue flag beaches of the Adriatic with its golden sands are also 30 mins away. Safe, shallow water perfect for little ones. In summer sit outside at a beachside restaurant and eat the freshest fish and seafood with a chilled local wine.
