The atmosphere is warm and relaxing with soft lighting and a twinkling brazier, neutral colours on the walls, old stone floors in the courtyard and excellent staff to look after you. You eat in the elegant restaurant: breakfast could go on forever with local 'pasticciotti', cakes, salami, fresh cheeses, eggs any way you want; lunches and evening meals are created from seasonal and local ingredients by chef Anotonio Capoccello – fish from the Ionian Sea, vegetables with zero kilometres. The wine list is extensive and delicious.
Bedrooms, some facing the monastery and others the Baroque buildings, are designed to welcome and calm you: some suites, some apartments with their own kitchens, some with private terraces, all sleek and neat-as-a-pin; find baskets of fresh fruit waiting for you.
