Garden Cottage at Ennys - Self-catering in Cornwall
Trewhella Lane

With roots possibly as old as a hermitage for the monks from St Michael's Mount, these beautiful stone buildings blend seamlessly into the landscape. The Garden Cottage, originally the dairy, has an upstairs living room which you can also enter via outside steps. Along one wall is the newly-refurbished kitchen, a joy for cooks with all the kit you need. Two bedrooms are downstairs, both a good size and they share a bathroom with underfloor heating and a walk-in shower.
The generous welcome hamper includes a cream tea as well as fresh and local goods for breakfast – there’s often a chocolate treat too. On warmer days you'll be out on your own terrace or finding a bench in the gorgeous gardens, cooling off in - or lying beside - the pool.
This is deep countryside, midway between the north and south coasts and just a quarter of an hour's drive to either so pack up a picnic and head to lovely beaches. There are superb gardens to explore and much mining history to discover.
