Nothing disturbs the peace, so come for long lazy days bronzing in the sun, seek shade under the pergola and ease yourself into the small, but deep, pool when it all gets too much. The garden is charming with beds full of agapanthus and irises and oleander, all tended by owner Prue when she is here.
Indoors is attractive, with objects collected from all over the world and of course Puglia - in keeping with the age and simplicity of the building. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and spotless, the bedroom charming and simple. A short drive away is a shop with a deli counter selling home cooked Italian food as well as wine and local produce. There is a separate bunk room with shower and loo for two grown-up children.
Take nature-filled hikes, breathe fresh air, have a sundowner with your toes in the pool, unwind.
