Old-Lands - Self-catering barn in Monmouthshire
Dingestow Court, Dingestow, NP25 4DY, Monmouthshire
Wales,
Reino Unido
Send the children off to the Forest School, try their letterboxing and immerse yourselves in wildlife and rolling hills. This grand gothic house is home to the Bosanquet family, whose love of sustainable farming is inspiring.
They offer a barn conversion for two, with a little loft den (or bell tent) in the summer for children and grand-children. All ages love it here.
Raglan Castle is a ten-minute drive, the Forest of Dean half an hour, and the Brecons are just beyond. This is a foodie area so book lunch at The Bell at Skenfrith (about 10 miles), tour the vineyards of Ancre Hill (7 miles), and visit the Chapel in Abergavenny (12 miles). Then back for a stroll down the yew-tree walk, and a row on the wildlife-rich lake.

Puntos de interés sobre la región de
Clare Bosanquet:
- Castles galore on the doorstep, it is border territory after all.
- You can see the Wye valley from the wooded slopes above, or whizzing by as you tackle the white water in a canoe.
- Our old industrial heritage is good too, if disappearing down a mine for the afternoon is your cup of tea.
- Abergavenny as a foodie town with its annual festival is good place to find the best of our local produce.
- Black mountains 20 minutes away, Brecons just beyond.
