You arrive, through gently wooded countryside, to an easy welcome and a feeling of tranquillity – hens strut the cottagey garden; the farm’s 17th-century frame is full of fresh charms. Take a room with its own terrace for even more space, and sit out to ponder the day - with a glass of Anne’s apple juice.
She’ll happily help you plan your time… be as sporty as you like; pretty much everything from golfing to angling is on hand. Without the car: there are cross-country footpaths to follow and you’re a stroll from the nearest sandy beach. It’s a short drive to attractive fishing ports, villages and towns– see the day’s catch landed at Le Guilvinec, take a boat from Bénodet to the Iles Glénan.
Quimper and Concarnau are known for fine food and Sainte Marine’s harbour-side eateries are nearby - fish, and crêpes, are specialities, of course.
