The outer walls of this 1700s house give no hint of the high, light rooms within. Communal spaces are arranged around three sides of an inner patio - an orangery for meditating, coaching and yoga, the bird's nest (another quiet room) and a break out room. The kitchen and dining room are the jewels of the house with a long table for celebratory meals, or even a wedding party, but if you don't fancy cooking you can have a chef do it all.
Water comes from a well, solar panels provide 80% of electricity, and there is drain field sewage and underfloor heating. When you're not taking part in a course there is a Mediterranean garden to find a peaceful spot in and vineyards and olive trees to wander around. Bedrooms have gorgeous views, fresh flowers and ceramic artwork by owner Iris.
A pizza oven sits under an ancient fig tree for unforgettable holiday suppers with views over the Penedès countryside - famous for wines and Cava.

- Mas els Igols is the original bodega of our wine valley: vineyards, 3/4 surrounded by hills, stretching in a 2 km radius around the estate. It was built in 1.752 on Roman ruins that you can still find in the vineyards.
- Our paradisaical reality: Mediterranean climate, with low humidity with a confortable afternoon summer breeze. Culture is at an hour in Barcelona, the sea at 30 minutes, mountains stretching behind the house as far as the pyrenees. And lot's of green!
- The popular destinations Barcelona, Tarragona and Sitges are within an hour drive. You can find modern culture, ancient sites, bohemian beach culture, amazing gastronomy within a stone throw away.
- Wine culture is the main activity in our region. The Spanish sparkling wine Cava is produced here as well as many other quality wines. We have good connections to many bodegas and organize selected wine tours and tastings.
- With the hills and low mountains nearby it is an ideal setting for biking, walking, climbing and outdoor activities in general. Catalans love their nature and there are many activities organized to enjoy it.
