Here, Marc and Lidia have dedicated themselves to reviving a small hamlet to sustainable life in the Cadí-Moixeró nature park. A pure, almost monastic farmhouse where slippers replace boots at the door, Cal Calsot is now thickly insulated and full of light, has chunky timber furniture, organic hand-woven bedding and good simple comfort. With zero clutter, nothing stops the eye as it sweeps out towards those heart-stopping views - there’s one from every room. Marc and Lidia live here with their two young children, run an organic veal farm alongside the cluster of sustainable businesses they have inspired, serve locally-grown organic meals and are eager to give you an unforgettable experience of healthy natural life in the high pure air. A dying hamlet lives again in a lovely valley and this young couple have made it happen. They have so much to offer. Come for the glorious hiking and great skiing, nip over to France or Andorra, return for delicious food and good company, and leave inspired.
