| The feel is one of much space and light, thanks to high ceilings, french doors leading to the garden and big windows on every other wall. In spite of its size it still feels cosy with a wood-burner, large TV, books and board games, so even on a foul weather day you'll feel happy to stay indoors. On balmier days you'll be sitting in the garden, having meals out here, admiring the super views, lighting the small barbecue. The well-equipped kitchen has lots of room, a range cooker with three ovens and all mod cons a cook might need to feed a large group. There's a separate boot room for washing machine and drier, as well as a handy pulley airer for wet walking gear. Bedrooms, all a good size, have well-dressed beds and two have the pretty view. Nought but birdsong will disturb your sleep. A 20-minute walk across fields will take you to Child Okeford for two pubs and a shop/post office. Return to settle on comfy sofas. |

Mininum stay : 3 nights. One of the bedrooms has a zip and link bed which can be set up as a double or twin. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms and on the furniture. They mustn't be left unattended at the property.
