A cluster of traditional farm buildings making up three holiday cottages in very attractive grounds with fruit trees, meadows and woodland

On beautiful Anglesey, close to sandy beaches and medieval castles, these traditional stone and slate houses are very comfortable. Owl Barn and The Farmhouse are neighbours in an old house built in 1870 and can be rented separately or together. Both are light and spacious, with plump sofas to sink into, smart bathrooms and beds topped with colourful Welsh blankets. An interconnecting door can link the two properties, and Owl Barn has a big kitchen overlooking the pretty gardens, for group feasts. You'll find basics waiting plus Welsh cakes.

Little Woodpecker Cottage is a snug bolthole for two with a magical walled garden where you can breakfast al fresco; it has a kitchenette for simple cooking, too - good enough for a short stay. Outside, stone paths lead through lovely, lawned gardens shaded by mature trees: guests are welcome to wander.

Beyond your peaceful rural retreat, there are miles of scenic coastal paths and cycle trails to explore.

  • Ten minutes from the lovely Llanddwyn beach with its protected sand dunes and miles of pine forests. Whether you want to walk, cycle or swim there is something for everybody.
  • Tesla & EV charging. The cottages are nestled within 3.5 acres of land. There is a woodland with walkways, šeating and a Wendy house for little visitors. Watch our chickens In the lower orchard, play games on the field or just relax in the cottage garden
  • House in the Yard is conveniently located to explore the Snowdonia National Park and the historical castles of Caernarfon, Conwy and our own Beaumaris castle and gaol. Take a visit to Oriel Mon to look at the wonderful paintings of Sir Kyffin Williams
  • If food is your passion Anglesey has quality local produce for you to try at its restaurants. Welsh lamb, mussels, oysters, sea bass and our own sea salt are amongst its specialities. Stay with us in September and enjoy the Island's seafood festival.
  • Explore further afield and catch a ferry from Holyhead to Dublin for a day to enjoy a pint of Guinness - You will have to be up early though! Grab a rib ride and motor down the Menai Straits to get a sea view of the Anglesey and visit Puffin Island.
  • The coastal pathways offer a breath taking way to see the island - either on foot or bike or horse! . Anglesey is rich with wildlife and fauna offering birdwatchers and botanists exciting opportunities to spot that elusive rare species
