Tamar Ferguson at Garth Yr Hebog
Inside is warm, simple and open plan. White stone walls and high pitched ceilings give a feeling of space while the wood-burner keeps you very cosy, and views from each window are of glorious countryside and many curious sheep. The kitchen has room for two and a welcome pack of Bara Brith, Welsh cakes, an artisan loaf, local butter. You can order a breakfast pack – traditional or vegetarian – or one of Kerrie's seasonal meals ready to pop in the oven.
Open a handmade wooden door to find the bedroom which has windows either side so you'll wake to the mesmerising views. After long walks in the surrounding beauty you can wallow in a proper bath with organic Bramley soaps. A bench on the slate patio is a grand spot for morning coffee, another round the side is where you'll have summer meals surrounded by wild roses.
With views of the sea from the top of the garden and Moel y Gest mountain you have the very cream of Snowdonia at your feet.
