There's a great Saturday market in Granville, 30km, and a boat to the Chaussey Islands. And you're an hour from the most famous sites: the Bayeux Tapestry, the D Day beaches, Mont St Michel.
In summer, huge windows glide open from the pool to the terrace. Lounge on colourful cushions; listen to the birds and rustling leaves; watch Nugget (the cockerel) roost in his tree. There are shady spots under the old lime...and magical illumination for night time swims.

- Nice little hike to do absolutely. By taking the customs path, you are sure to have superb views of this magnificent bay of Mont St-Michel, discover Cabane Vauban, the most beautiful mile of France at Champeaux climbs (according to Eisenhower !)
