The B&B is spread across three buildings close to the church, and there's a grassy garden with tables, chairs and sun umbrellas. Bedrooms are spread over three floors, the ground floor room with its own private courtyard, first-floor room with a forest theme and the top two with sloping ceilings. In addition there's a separate family suite with a small kitchen. All have en suite bathrooms with separate loos and are as clean as a whistle.
Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the terrace: fresh fruit salad, local apple juice, homemade yogurt, pancakes and brioche, tasty jams. Rent electric bikes and pedal beside the Canal du Berry which stretches 50km in each direction.
Explore the undulating countryside surrounding you - Bourges, the vineyards of Quincy and Reuilly, taste goats' cheese, discover porcelain and its history, or head into Vierzon (10km) for a choice of good restaurants.
