Stable Yard Studio Apartment - Self-catering in Co. Kildare
Burtown House & Gardens
Burtown Little, Athy, R14 AE67, Co. Kildare
Leinster,
Irlande
A joy to come and stay in this high-ceilinged, light-filled studio looking out onto an orchard and walled kitchen garden. Outside you have your own secluded garden with potted plants – a lovely place to relax on sunny days, or eat al fresco. Beyond this are acres of woodland, formal gardens, sculpture park and wildflower meadows to wander freely – you get a pass to the gardens.
Inside has a modern feel with wooden floors and polished concrete stairs. You'll find a little kitchenette with kettle, toaster and Nespresso machine and you can order food from The Green Barn. Sleep peacefully in a large four-poster bed downstairs, take a book from the shelves and pop up to the peaceful mezzanine for a quiet read. The whole space is beautifully designed and pleasing to the eye.
There's lots to do on the estate: play tennis, pick up delicious food and pretty homeware at the shop, or treat yourself to Sunday lunch in the restaurant.
