You'll fall in love with the views from this sweet cottage on the edge of Coverack. Soak up every drop of sun on the south facing terrace or cosy up in front of the open fire. It's an easy-going family escape: a huge box of toys in the sitting room, a shed with fishing nets and body boards and a play park beneath the terrace so you can watch the kids run free.
Stroll down to The Lifeboat House for fish and chips on the quay, Paris Hotel for a pint or pop to Helston (12 miles) for more choice and supermarkets. A generous breakfast hamper is left to get you started.
You're minutes from the Coast Path for cliff top walks or take your pick of the beaches: Coverack Beach, a few minutes' walk behind the cottage, is huge and Mears Beach is a 15-minute walk further along the coast path. Kynance Cove is stunning but gets busy in the summer; try Lankidden Cove (3 miles along the coastal path) or Kennack Sands, 1.5 miles further and has a café.

- This idyllic coastal cottage is located a stone's throw from the sea with breathtaking views. Enjoy stunning sunrises, sunsets and stargazing at this enchanting bolthole - it's far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
- Battery Cottage is perched on the edge of Coverack village park (with swings and a slide) and the cottage gate opens on to it making it a perfect place for children. The village offers gift shops, a church, pub, cafes, restaurants and a fish & chip shop.
- Set on the South-West coastal path, why not go exploring and discover Mears Beach or Cadgwith and Lankidden Coves. Take a trip to the Lizard Point lighthouse, Trebah Gardens or the Seal Sanctuary too.
