Lovely owners have created this quirky space on their farm; side by side alfresco baths make it romantic for 2 (+sofabed for extra guests)

Along winding lanes that graze the eastern edge of Dartmoor is Sam and Felicity’s medieval farmstead. They’re a modern breed of farmer - young, passionate about their four small children and tribe of livestock - who love to flex their creativity. Tucked between the chicks and farmhouse the former piggery is a private, open-plan living space, with white walls, exposed beams and polished concrete floors, made homely by fresh flowers, rustic furniture and art. Snooze suspended in the king size bed, reached by a ladder and below the nifty sofa turns into two singles. The kitchen has all you need to cook -  stock up on the farm’s organic produce up at the house, lovely Felicity leaves treats. There’s a separate bathroom with a shower, but bathing is al fresco: backing onto the orchard is the deck, where centre-stage a pair of cast iron baths await, their pipes full of hot water. It’s a seriously romantic setting for a soak, particularly under moonlight. You’re welcome to tour the farm and meet the animals, and there are plenty of trips to plan: walks, rides and picnics on Dartmoor, and South Devon beaches aren't too far.

Guest feedback
"Just had the most wonderful stay at the Old Piggery. Felicity and Sam could not have been better hosts. We arrived to a basket of goodies for breakfast, and the accomodation was both incredibly comfortable and unique. We loved soaking in the autumnal hues and being surrounded by beautiful fields, trees and their happy farm life. The space feels private and cosy and really very special. Every care has been taken to give guests a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be going back! A perfect getaway. "
