Sink into a bath of bubbles in front of a wall-sized window up on the mezzanine floor - views soar over the harbour and out to sea, sunsets will be magnificent. It's a tiny space, best for those who long to be close, but incredibly well designed so that everything fits in and it's all about the views so the feel is light and airy. The kitchen is to the side of the living room/bedroom and has all you need for holiday cooking. If you prefer, head out to the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, suppers of local produce, even tea with home-baked cakes.

The walls tell the story of the town's industrial past, through photographs and pictures of its important maritime history, the successful paper making factory (which closed in 2015), right up to the modern hand-built kitchen furniture and the the asymmetrical lattice table. There is a private terrace area too.

Head out for wonderful walks, return to organic sheets on a comfy bed.
