Drive through Surrey parkland grazed by rare breed cattle to reach this bijou hideaway. The circular cottage topped with a terracotta turret is quite unlike any other B&B you’re likely to visit. It’s set into a corner of Alison’s lovely walled garden, with oval windows overlooking the park. Step through the sage green door into a country-chic bedroom with monogrammed pillows and crisp linen. Along a corridor leading to the sparkling shower room, there’s a double-fronted cupboard concealing an immaculate kitchen. Alison provides homemade bread, marmalade, bacon, tomatoes and eggs, so guests can make a delicious, DIY breakfast in bed.
