With its own pub, café, restaurant and lounge area, you'll be hard pushed to decide where to eat and drink well, take the newspaper to a quiet corner, fit in some work (a co-working hub with booths for private calls), visit the Craft Barn or enjoy a DJ night in the Green Room. Bedrooms ramble amiably across the main building and extensions – designed by House of Dre to be calm spaces reflecting the natural surroundings, with bespoke items created by artisan craftspeople. Enjoy delicious beds, woven blankets from Warp, ceramic lamps, gorgeous bathrooms with Verden soaps and lotions and oodles of space.
Tuck into menus brimming with British produce, some homegrown in the gardens, all fresh and beautifully presented. Set off on woodland walks, order treatments, breathe out.
