Head for the hills....and the dancing daffodils. A remarkable hand-crafted glass and timber cottage in the grounds of a beautiful estate

The attention to detail in design, decoration and craftsmanship is phenomenal - come to be inspired. It's open plan but cosy with underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove, very comfy sofas, a fully-fledged kitchen with an Aga and stairs up to the bedroom with a galleried landing. You have your own little patch of garden for early morning tea or a sundowner overlooking the Teme and Kyre valleys.

Footpaths and bridleways crisscross the estate through ancient woodlands where badgers, woodpeckers, buzzards and owls are prolific, there's a babbling brook for a paddle and acres of fields to tramp.

Visit foodie Ludlow for street markets, good restaurants, a castle and the start of the Mortimer Trail. Cyclists can set off for miles of blissfully car-free gentle hills. This is a remarkably restorative place for city dwellers.

We sit on the borders of three of the most beautiful counties in England. Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire. Renowned for the black and white villages trial. Malvern Hills boast the most spectacular views in the country.
Walks - Ebony Cottage sits beside our ancient unspoilt wood full of wildlife and wild flowers, a wonderful place for walking or quietly bird watching. Or enjoy the network of paths from the cottage. Herefordshire is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Things of interest - Horse racing enthusiasts will enjoy Ludlow, Hereford and Worcester racecourses.The fine Georgian town of Ludlow, with markets nearly every day. Hay on Wye famous for its bookshops and world renowned Hay festival.
Architecture and history - Visit the medieval ruins of; Ludlow Castle or Stokesay Castle, a beautiful 13th Century manor house and moat. Hereford with the wonderful Cathedral and chained library. Witley Court, a 17th Century ruined Italianate mansion.
