Explore Paimpol, watch bobbing fishing boats, get lost in the maze of streets and sample the local delicacy of Coco de Paimpol. After hunger has been satisfied head to Guilben and walk through the woods of Abbey de Beauport - the views out to sea are magnificent.
Restaurants are a ten-minute drive - ask Isabelle which ones promise perfect oysters and cracking wine lists. An evening in promises a gastronomical delight too - book ahead for one of Isabelle's sumptuous cook-ups. Expect local lobster, lamb, oysters and seasonal vegetables. After a day immersing yourself in French culture the comfortable bedrooms are all you need - one has its own terrace.
