The bedrooms are spacious enough to sit in and each overlooks the gardens or town - the best have mountain and sea views. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays which gives you a good excuse to head off down narrow alleys to find somewhere to eat - there's an abundance of tempting eateries and bars.
Walk from the door: a four hour roundtrip hike up Monte Stello rewards with panoramic island views. Hire e-bikes to get around.
