Gite du Pacha, Chateau de Bonneval - Self-catering cottage in Haute-Vienne
Chateau de Bonneval
11 place au Foires, 87500 Coussac-Bonneval, Haute-Vienne
Limousin,
Francia
Neatly designed into an existing ancient building, this cottage has lovely views onto the parkland surrounding you and the feel is light and airy. There are plenty of games to play around the big dining table on rainy days, a wood-burner in a rediscovered brick fireplace and a TV with all the trimmings. Cooks will be very relieved to find good quality pots and pans, Limoges china and proper table cloths. The welcome hamper includes a couple of bottles of the château's own label artisan beer along with locally made bread and jams.
French windows lead to your courtyard garden with two spacious sitting and eating spots so you can be in sun or shade, the secluded hot tub and a barbecue with prepping table. Take a tour of the château, wander the parkland at will or walk five minutes to Le Kaolin for superb traditional French food and silver service.
Out the gates and you're into town for a boulangerie, butcher, shops and restaurants.
