Vincent and Élisabeth's serene home lies right in the heart of an 11th-century village in George Sand country. Their characterful home is brimful of your hosts' creative endeavours: watercolours, pottery, hand-stitched patchwork quilts, freshly picked garden flowers.
Linger under lime trees in a secret courtyard garden while relishing a plentiful breakfast (fresh pastries from the boulangerie, homemade jam and yogurt) and enjoy dinners of home-grown produce – Élisabeth works hard on both her allotments. Get cosy in the family sitting room in front of an open fire before a deep sleep in your charming loft bedroom. Three en suite rooms share sofas, books and games.
Walk to the house George Sand grew up in, it has lovely gardens and hosts a music festival in June and July dedicated to the Romantic period. Stroll down to the village restaurant for supper then back for a nightcap with your artistic hosts who are an absolute delight.
