You'll find plenty of space to spread out in a large sitting room with Chesterfield sofas and wood fire, a dining room (also with fire) filled with antiques and a massive oak table for chatting and chopping. There is a small single bedroom downstairs, the rest are on the first floor and have fine views. The unique kitchen is actually built into the rock face but has all the modern fittings and you are left a bottle of the local wine.
If you don't fancy cooking then you can be served a home-cooked three course dinner in the dining room or Orangery depending on the weather. The owners run a B&B in their manor house on the estate. You start with a handmade cocktail or strawberry liqueur then enjoy classic French cuisine such as lamb tagine or rabbit stew followed by one of Olga's delicious puddings or an elaborate multi layered cake.
Summer evenings will be spent on your own terrace overlooking extensive grounds and water gardens.
