Oenophiles will flock here for the cru classé of Provence, history lovers will adore the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa, and nature lovers can wander over the grounds with its well-kept lawns, ancient trees and much birdsong. Take breakfast in the dining room, or out in the garden on sunny days: fresh croissants and bread, butter, eggs, cereal, jams and cheeses – very French! Enjoy a tour of the permanent wine and spirit museum (they make their own whisky too) or visit other wine estates in the area.
Bedrooms all have fans, blinds to keep the heat out, lovely views over the gardens and en suite bathrooms. They are each unique in their style, comfortable, traditional and peaceful – you should sleep well. Spend lazy days snoozing by the saltwater pool, visit the shop attached to the distillery and buy gifts to take home – guests get a discount.
