Inside, all is elegant and serene with huge picture windows to draw your gaze across rippling countryside to the pretty hilltop village of Cingoli. Muted colours marry with antique finds, a modern hanging wood-burner and a billiard table.
When you're not out exploring you can float in the infinity pool, stretch out on sun beds and star gaze from the hot tub. It will be a joy to create feasts in the sleek kitchen then glide through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors to eat under the pergola as the sun melts over the horizon. Upstairs are four ensuite double bedrooms to snooze in, all with antique beds and smart bathrooms. Find an extra room in the annexe next to the pool.
Rent bikes and zip out for lunch at Villa Ugolini, splash at Lago di Cingoli, visit the Frasassi caves. Return to tranquility.
