Enchanting, inspiring, restful – immerse yourselves in the splendid architecture, laid out like a piazza and surrounded by ancient oaks, rosemary and meticulously landscaped borders. Wander through its serene gardens, explore the chapel, take refuge in a shady spot with a book, slip into the marble pool. And eat, very well. The restaurant offers delicious food, deeply rooted in the region with homegrown biodynamic vegetables and herbs, ancient grains and limited meat and fish from small Umbrian suppliers.
Bedrooms and suites (eight in the main building and four in the annexe) are spacious with lovely views and pampering bathrooms. Beds have plump mattresses and fine linens, mosquito nets adorn the windows, you'll feel well looked after and supremely comfortable.
Head to the bamboo dome for morning yoga or meditation, have a massage, take a pottery class in the chapel, find a quiet spot that's all yours, switch off completely.
