42 Church Street - Self-catering house in Derbyshire
42 Church Street, Ashbourne, DE6 1AJ, Derbyshire
England,
Regno Unito
This is just the right size for two. Downstairs is a kitchen with all you need to cook up a storm and Portmeirion Sophie Conran pottery to serve it up on. You're also left some Ashbourne traditional gingerbread biscuits and a box of popcorn so you can settle into a movie in the sitting room - or in the dining area. The huge TV can be swivelled between the two rooms and offers every digital channel available plus you can play your own music on it.
The Italian designer lighting is well thought-out and each piece of modern furniture has been carefully chosen to blend with the lovely original stonework or pretty brickwork in the kitchen, there's even a little separate study area for anybody who needs to work. After a day walking or cycling in the Peak District you'll be delighted with the warm downstairs bathroom and walk-in shower.
The bedroom, up in the eaves, has a king size bed with cosy fur throws and cushions, very tempting.
