A vast drawing room is just the ticket for sprawling in comfort, playing a game, chatting by the log fire, planning your next outing or being happy not doing much. Cooks will be busy in the professionally designed kitchen, adorned with every tool you can think of to whip up a storm. You eat in the dining room (seating for 18) or out in the garden.
Bedrooms (two on the first floor, two on the second and one in a separate building, plus a dormitory for four) have lovely views, swish bathrooms with proper baths and showers over, restful colours – it's quiet here. Mostly you'll be in the pretty garden, enjoying al fresco meals, playing games on the lawn, cooling off in the pool, sunbathing or visiting the sauna. There's a games room, pétanque and tennis court for the more active.
The surrounding valleys are criss-crossed with peaceful walking paths and you're less than an hour's drive from Le Mans for events throughout the year.
