Deep in the Tiber valley, this organic farm dates back to the 1700s, with exposed stone walls, terracotta floors and chunky beams. There are plenty of communal areas indoors to relax, plan trips, work or simply drink a coffee. Mostly you'll be out in the gardens, swimming in the sparkling pool, toning in the small gym, practising your yoga, steaming in the Finnish sauna or heading to the river and a natural waterfall.
The day starts with a delicious breakfast: fruits from the gardens, freshly baked breads, pastries, tarts, homemade jams, yogurts, local cheeses, meats and eggs. Light lunches can be prepared with a bit of notice and dinner is served from Wednesday to Saturday – a seasonal menu of regional delights, lovingly cooked by Adria.
You'll sleep undisturbed in one of eight view-filled suites/apartments, hugely comfortable and with sparkling shower rooms, to a soundtrack of birdsong and trickling water. An Italian Garden of Eden.
