Tissington Hall: High Flatts Barn - Self-catering in Derbyshire
Tissington, DE6 1RA, Derbyshire
England,
Regno Unito
The barn sits on the exceptionally pretty Tissington Estate near Ashbourne in the Peak District. The conservatory floods the house with light and the views across the rural landscape towards Carsington Water are exceptional. Solar panels, an air source heat pump and underfloor heating will keep you very cosy, but there's a wood-burning stove in the large sitting room if you want an extra boost. Lovely to sit in here on a squashy sofa, snooze with a book, play a board game or just gaze at the view.
A neat-as-a-pin garden has sturdy fencing to keep livestock out and visiting dogs in. You'll find a pretty patio with a wooden table and a barbecue for long summer days – break out the welcome hamper which includes a homemade cake from the village shop. Both bedrooms (one king size, one king size or twin) have the views and both have their own bathroom with Out of Eden soaps.
The kitchen has everything you need and a larder of basics.
