Hanno’s Workshop - Self-catering house in Co. Cork
Mossie’s
Ulusker House, Adrigole, P75 E959, Co. Cork
Munster,
Irlanda
With high ceilings and reclaimed hardwood floors, this lovely space is filled with light and oozes charm. Even on rainy days you'll be happy to be here, lighting the wood-burner, putting on the Grundig 1970s sound system, cooking up a storm on the Ninja oven, perhaps watching a film. If you don't fancy cooking you can order a grazing board of local cheeses, meats and antipasti with home-baked baguettes.
Nature lovers, cyclists, walkers and those who want to be in water will find their perfect setting here. You can join the Beara Way, stride up Caha and enjoy spectacular views to Bantry Bay. Ease your limbs in the wet room shower with deep slipper bath, enjoy soaps and shampoo from a local Irish producer, sleep deeply in the super king bed with goose down pillows.
There are places in the pretty garden to sit and a fire pit for starry skies, or your own terrace for sundowners. Book a slot in the stone-built sauna by the stream.

Local points of interest from Vanessa & Matti:
Punti d'interesse locali da
Vanessa & Matti:
- Less travelled than its famous neighbours (Ring of Kerry & Dingle), the Ring of Beara offers the same stunning scenery with fewer crowds. This remote route features landmarks like Hungry Hill, Allihies, and Garnish Island.
- Derreen Gardens spans 60 acres of woodland walks, sea views, and subtropical plants nestled in the Caha Mountains. In summer, enjoy great coffee and homemade treats - one of our favourite places to visit!
- Just past the Caha Tunnels, Molly Gallivan's Cottage is a traditional Irish farmhouse offering local souvenirs like sheepskins, Aran knits, handmade woodware, and Claddagh rings - all in an authentic setting.
- The Beara Peninsula hosts 3 golf courses: Glengarriff Golf Club (9 holes), Berehaven Golf Club (9 holes), and Bantry Golf Club, featuring an 18-hole course set across 170 acres of woodland and coastline.
- Just over the Cork/Kerry border in Kenmare, Gleninchaquin Park offers woods, log bridges, lakes, rocky passages, stone steps, and hill hikes. It also serves as the gateway to the historic Uragh Stone Circle.
- Garnish Island, just off Glengarriff, features pristine subtropical gardens and untouched woodland with walking trails. Hidden within is a historic Martello tower you can climb for stunning views over Glengarriff Harbour and Bantry Bay.
