Terracotta, wood and wicker soften the contemporary spaces, all with a view over that spectacular view. The simple kitchen has everything you need, including local olive oil and fresh bread. The ground floor bedroom opens straight onto the garden - tiptoe across the lawn for a morning dip. Upstairs, a second en suite bedroom and two single beds on the open mezzanine.
It’s a five-minute stroll to the village bar, or try the local brewery. Pretty little villages dotted about the valley make good destinations for a hike or bike ride. For art lovers, Salvador Dalí’s home in nearby Púbol is a must, and the Medes Islands marine reserve is renowned for scuba diving.
