Your compact studio with an old stone façade and grey shutters is in the garden and blissfully rustic – especially delightful in summer. Walk straight in to an open-plan bedroom/living/kitchen area with all you need for holiday cooking, or you can cook up a storm on the barbecue.
You have your own private-feeling terrace with trees and shrubs dividing you from the main house, but this is a friendly place and you're encouraged to use the garden with its smooth lawn, fruit trees and dining corner with a table for al fresco meals on balmy evenings. You can also sizzle off in a small basin-style pool if it gets too hot.
A stroll along the canal leads to fabulous old Saint-Rémy with its restaurants, world-renowned chocolaterie and Wednesday market. Moments away is Avignon; the castle ruin at Les Baux is just over the hill.
