The Head Gardener's House - Self-catering in Lincolnshire
Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG33 5AP, Lincolnshire
England,
Regno Unito

Built in 1861, the house sits in a secluded rural setting. As well as your own private garden with table and chairs, you can wander the yew tree walk, follow a turf maze, find birdwatching hides and wildflower banks, take picnics to the river and watch sheep grazing in the field beside you - this is a peaceful spot.
Inside is just the right size for four with a lovely balance of old and new furniture, fine fabrics and plenty of seating, including a padded window seat for gazing. The wood-burner warms you in winter, there's a separate dining room and a library (watch the low ceiling) with a desk if you need to work. The kitchen has everything you need and you're left a generous welcome pack with a freshly baked cake and a bottle of Easton sloe gin.
Both bedrooms have fine views and super bed linen on fat mattresses - they share a huge bathroom with bath and a walk-in rain shower; soaps and bathrobes await. Settle in and enjoy - garden lovers will be especially happy.
