The Maple - Self-catering cottage in Northumberland
Kidlandlee,
Harbottle, Morpeth, NE65 7DA, Northumberland
England,
Regno Unito
Your cottage is 1400 feet above the floor of the Upper Coquet valley and, once you're here, you'll be reluctant to leave. Sliding glass doors from the living room and bedrooms mean you can constantly look at beauty, or wildlife – red squirrels are bountiful here and ponds are teeming with newts and dragonflies. Cooks will be pleased with the shining granite surfaces for prepping, gas hob, large fridge and plenty of kit.
Both bedrooms are spacious and airy with king-size beds which can be twins and views over the hills. Lovely to walk out onto your patio area with a cup of tea in the early morning and breathe in the fresh air, listen to birds and the wind in the trees and feel far from any bustle. Head to the outdoor covered Shanti bathing area or the Holistic Healing Cabin to unwind.
This is a Dark Sky Area so on clear nights you'll be rewarded and you can hire a stargazing kit to make the most of it.
