This converted stone barn sits comfortably amongst the fields, woodlands and hidden valleys. Inside find mid-century furniture and slick styling, underfloor heating and strong eco credentials. The oak beamed living space is inviting, bedrooms have big beds and en suite bathrooms are stocked with eco-friendly soaps.
Load up with Yorkshire’s finest produce at the Friday farmers’ market, bring it all home to cook and eat together. The open plan kitchen has plenty of basics and there’s a chilled bottle of Prosecco and fresh milk in the fridge.
Cook outdoors on summer evenings and watch stars in this Dark Sky reserve. There are walks from the door - ask Lorna and Chris about their favourites. World-class hill climbs and forest trails will tempt cyclists, and the coast is only a short drive. There are plenty of books and games.
