A special little house, renovated with huge style, filled with beautiful objects and with a delightfully quiet and secluded private garden

The house dates back to the 19th century but it's been utterly transformed inside with vibrant colours, huge attention to detail and a wonderful collection of furniture, pictures and mirrors collected over the years or bought from small designers. Everything from the smooth floors, exposed stone walls, beautifully crafted kitchen and romantic bedrooms are perfectly orchestrated and you'll feel happy just to be here.

There's plenty of space in the sitting room for reading a book, playing cards or tackling a board game and you can have a telly if you ask for it but it's not usually there because it ruins the ambience! The kitchen is far better equipped than most homes and it will be a pleasure to cook, but you're a stone's throw from some superb restaurants. Vincent can help you hire bikes, have a yoga session in-house or at the beach and paddle board among other things – just ask.

The Maisons 322 project began back in 2017 when we bought a farmhouse and winery with grounds that would later be transformed into four inspiring guest houses in the idyllic setting of Bois-Plage-en-Ré.
Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré is centrally located on the Île de Ré, with 6km of beaches and a daily market during the summer.
