Treat yourselves to a stay in the gloriously comfortable Astor Wing with private terrace and views to Hever Castle and the Tudor Garden

The whole cottage is very spacious with a country-house style drawing room sporting deep sofas in front of an open log fire, books and magazines, rich fabrics and leaded windows through which you can see the romantic gardens, studded with history. Fun for everybody to cook together in the huge kitchen with loads of prep space and kit – you're left enough treats for your first breakfast in case you arrive empty handed.

Eat out on the covered terrace-with-views or wait until visitors go home and you have parts of the gardens, lakes and grounds to yourselves – lovely for a summer evening picnic. Return to four good-sized bedrooms (two downstairs) with panelled walls, lovely thick curtains and fabric headboards, plump mattresses and gleaming antiques.

A private guided tour of the castle, falconry displays, golf packages, tennis – all can be arranged with a bit of notice. Lunches and evening meals can be taken in the King Henry VIII inn.

Complimentary tickets to Hever Castle & Gardens are included in your stay (check website for times when the castle and gardens are open). Once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, discover the love story that developed between Anne and King Henry VIII.
Children are welcome, there's lots to keep them entertained. An adventure playground, a maze and a boating lake are on offer during the day, board games for the evening.Check the Whats On page on our website for events including Jousting Tournaments
Access to parts of the gardens when the day visitors have departed is one of the most often sited bonus's of a stay at Hever Castle. Early morning strolls and evening explores are a must to capture the hidden beauty of the Estate.
On days when the Estate is open to the public, there are cafés for lunch: there's a wonderful pub in walking distance for lunchtime and evening meals. There's a great selection of restaurants only a short drive away in neighbouring Tunbridge Wells.
Well located for visits to Penshurst Place, Chartwell, Groombridge Place & many more places of interest. Shopping in Tunbridge Wells Spa Town is a must! Spa facilities are within close proximity. Camber Sands & Brighton Beach for trips to the coast.
There's a golf club on the Estate for all level of golfers, in the Summer the open air theatre offers an eclectic programme of plays, opera and cinema. Christmas is just truly magical at Hever Castle with snow, Santa and reindeer guaranteed!
